November 19, 2007 - United States of America – During the weekend of August 15-17, 2008, Dallas/Ft. Worth will play host to the 2008 Miss Plus Teen USA Pageant. Plus size teen girls, ages 13-19, will gather together from all over the United States for an entire weekend of fun, friendship, education and inspiration and will walk away with a renewed sense of self-esteem, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-image...SELF! Only one of the girls, however, will walk away with the title of Miss Plus Teen USA 2008.
Contestants will compete in Personal Interview, Casual Wear and Formal Wear categories with Finalists answering a final question. Contestants, regardless of their race, family, marital status, past pageantry experience or lack thereof may also compete in optional Photogenic, Non-Performance Talent and Performance Talent Competitions.
