March 12, 2008 - Poughkeepsie, NY – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) is expanding its outsourcing professional certification training globally with the first Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) Master Class to be held in South America next month.
IAOP is joining with global training firm, Quint Wellington Redwood (Quint), to conduct a series of newly added training sessions around the world to prepare professionals for the prestigious outsourcing industry COP designation.
The first South America session will be April 22-25 at The Quality Faria Lima in Sao Paolo, Brazil. New classes will be held this spring in Madrid, Spain; Bangalore, India; Hong Kong, China; and Brussels, Belgium. The program also is offered in the U.S. and online.
“As interest in the COP certification continues to grow globally, we’ve expanded our COP Master Class training to meet the needs of professionals from around the globe to pursue industry certification,” said IAOP Executive Director Christina Powers.
An integral part of the association’s COP program, the Master Class provides outsourcing customers, providers and advisors with an intensive learning experience on the latest end-to-end processes for outsourcing success.
The curriculum has been enhanced to reflect the latest in outsourcing and The Outsourcing Professional Body of Knowledge (OPBOK). Individuals completing the course earn half of the 150 points needed for certification.
“Outsourcing issues and improving outcomes has been deeply discussed in Brazil,” said Milena Andrade, country manager of Quint Brazil. “We are pleased to be partnering with IAOP to deliver the best training program on outsourcing in the world.”
