In support of growing industry and nonprofit association’s goals, creative Agency to provide web design as corporate sponsor.

(1888PressRelease) September 03, 2008 - ORLANDO, Fla. – Discover Vacation Homes, the vacation rental category’s nonprofit association, teams up with Central Florida advertising agency, Metropolis Advertising & Design, in the design of its website to launch in September. The trade partnership establishes Metropolis as a corporate member and supporter of the association, whose efforts are solely dedicated to educating travelers on the benefits of renting professionally managed vacation homes through public relations, publicity, and cutting-edge Internet outreach.

“Thanks to the skill of the Metropolis team, our website will have three main functions as we ready for a national expansion next year,” states Steve Trover, President of Discover Vacation Homes, which is currently headquartered in Orlando. “The first will be to serve as an interactive resource for travelers across the country interested in vacation rentals. Secondly, the site will provide information for property management companies about joining our cause for consumer awareness. And third, we’ll designate an area of the site specifically for journalists interested in telling the vacation rental story.”

Brent Myrold, CEO of Metropolis, comments, “We’re honored to be working with such a progressive group. Discover Vacation Homes has the vision, energy and dynamic member base to affect real change in the industry. We feel fortunate to have been chosen as a critical partner in this endeavor.”

During the past two years, the organization has worked to develop the Discover Vacation Homes objective, brand, key messages, and more, sparking a momentum that will continue in 2009 as the association grows nationally from its current Orlando headquarters. Trover explains, “We are thrilled to be working with such a talented group of design professionals. The creation of this website will serve as a springboard for our development, for uniting the industry, and will be an effective online meeting place for the traveling public nationwide.”

The final site is slated to launch next month in preparation of the group’s acceptance of national memberships in October.
