Orange County Christian Writers' Conference Opens Registration for 2015

  • Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2014 - Registration is now open for the Orange Country Christian Writers' Conference (OCCWF.org). Writers are invited to attend and help celebrate the conference's 30-year anniversary.

    The event will be held at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana, California, on April 24 and 25, 2015. The two-day conference will help writers at all levels avoid costly mistakes, hone their writing skills, and learn innovative methods to get their writing published. The conference will include more than thirty workshops on writing fiction and nonfiction books, writing magazine articles for children, teens, and adults, including topics such as humor, script writing, publishing, and marketing.

    Some of the experts who will be sharing their knowledge on how to succeed in the Christian publishing industry include, keynote speakers Kathi Macias and Sharon Norris Elliott; agent Terry Burns; book publishing representatives Kim Bangs, Aaron Gansky, and Dave Sheets; magazine editors B. J. Taylor and Tess Rutherford; freelance editors Kathy Ide and Susan Osborn; freelance authors Lane Etheridge, Mona Hodgson, Alex Marestaing, Donna Stanley, Jewel Williams, children's writer Nancy Sanders and more.     The conference will celebrate its 30th anniversary with performances from comedienne Renae Brumbaugh Green, actress Kathy Bruins, and gospel recording artist Stephen B. Steward.
