September 05, 2007 - We are conducting an International Search to find a Host for the Hidden Loot a New Reality Show. the Hidden Loot is Hunting for all shapes, sizes, and flavors of people that are at least 18 years old, individuals who are fun, creative and enjoy the Reality Show genre. the Hidden Loot’s HUNT for the HOST Contest
The contest will accept Video Auditions until midnight (EST) December 31, 2007, while the Host will be named no later than March 1, 2008. The Host will be selected by utilizing the number of views and comments an individual’s video receives, as well as, the recommendations of a review panel. The winner of the HUNT for the HOST Contest will be the primary talent of the Hidden Loot’s first pursuit. The New Host will receive a stockpile of Loot, cash & prizes that will be donated or acquired. Additionally the Host will be given an opportunity to meet with or audition for talent agents.
To register and submit an Audition Video for the HUNT for the HOST Contest go to www.theHiddenLoot.com and click on Register. Put together a video, two (2) minutes or less, of how unique you are, the video should answer the following questions, Who are you? and What, Why and How would you make a Riveting Reality Show Host? Creativity in your audition video, as well as your presentation is a good thing. Poor sound and inferior video quality are bad things. DO NOT submit videos that depict nudity, cruel or lewd behavior or anything that causes other living beings harm.
the Hidden Loot Reality Show
Our hip Host will take off for places obscure & unknown or obvious & familiar, videotaping along the way. Your task is to find the Host and the Loot. Our Host will not be stationary for long so you better get moving. Short video segments containing clues will be posted on www.theHiddenLoot.com, www.YouTube.com, as well as on our sponsor’s websites. The key is to follow the links because the hints and videos will vary from website to website.
When does the pursuit begin?
The first in a series of 10 pursuits will take place in the summer of 2008. Additionally, we will select a state, probably Kentucky, to Beta test a smaller version of the Hidden Loot in the spring of 2008.
Who are the contestants?
The contestants and audience are one-in-the-same. Anyone who wants to take part in the Hidden Loot can. You, the contestant, will also serve as Director and Star of your own videos. Take your camera with you and record you insightful thoughts, the interesting places you visit and hopefully your final success in locating the Host & the Loot. We plan on producing 10 episodes of the Hidden Loot and releasing them on TV, DVD and/or the Internet. If you have good footage and are successful in your pursuits, we may use your videos.
How do you win the Loot?
Be the first person to physically find the Host. This does not mean seeing them drive by in a car; it means having the Host recognize you as the first person to find them and recording the event.
What is the Loot?
The Big Loot will be found when the Host is discovered and consist of cash money, prizes donated by our sponsors and prizes donated by the contestants and audience members. Prizes could range from an ugly lamp donated by a contestant to a new SUV or a used Ford Focus from our sponsors.
The Traveling Loot will be won along the way. The Traveling Loot may require you to go into a store, go on online, or do something foolish to get anything from a tee shirt, to free drinks, to free admission to an amusement park. Beware, this Traveling Loot may provide clues or diversions.
