September 05, 2009 - BROADVIEW, Ill. - OnTheBallBowling.com has been named as the exclusive provider of a unique Mark Roth plastic bowling ball that will be used exclusively by all competitors in the 2010 Professional Bowlers
Association Mark Roth Plastic Ball Championship, and it will be part of a special national fund-raising effortin support of the PBA Hall of Famer who suffered a massive stroke earlier this year.
OnTheBallBowling.com’s unique fund-raising effort centers around the PBA Mark Roth Plastic Ball Championship which will be conducted March 24-28 at AMF Babylon Lanes in West Babylon, N.Y. The Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour event will require all 64 PBA players to use the exclusive, custom-designed Mark Roth plastic ball produced by OnTheBallBowling.com.
At the conclusion of the tournament, Roth will personally sign all of the balls used in the tournament and each of the balls will be sold to help with the Roth family’s medical expenses as he continues a lengthy and costly rehabilitation in an attempt to regain use of his left side.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1951, Mark Roth won 34 PBA titles, ranking him a tie for third on the all-time PBA winners list with Pete Weber. Known for this high-powered “cranker” style, Roth was also recognized as one of the best spare shooters in PBA history.
