Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease)
March 12, 2007 - The hope is to expand throughout the Valley and eventually outside of Arizona, and Chandler is just the opportunity that the bistro’s owner is looking for.
With the economic success of small and medium-sized businesses in Chandler – clearly reflected through the rapid growth of its first online mall at http://chandler.chambercommunity.com – Dan Chaon, owner of the bistro Sau’tee found Chandler to be the ideal location – a doorway to the West Valley’s Scottsdale and North Phoenix, his next desired location.
Chandler’s location will open in early July at 4949 S. Alma School Road.
Though Chaon’s mind is set for expansion of Sau’tee, the idea is to establish it well in each location for a style of slow growth so that a chain-restaurant feeling is avoided, and an intimate atmosphere is developed.
The very first Sau’tee location is located on Val Vista Drive in Mesa, and it opened on March 13 of last year. It has been very well received with its sophisticated food available at moderate-plus prices in a 7,000-square foot restaurant.
Chaon credits the popularity of the restaurant to the fact that “People who come here truly feel they’ve had a great dining experience”.
The Sau’tee location in Chandler will be the same size as the original location in Mesa, and will also include a patio area and a fire pit. The menu and prices will be exactly the same, so that the positive experience that has been so carefully developed and polished will carry over in its new home.
Foods available at Sau’tee include appetizers, salads, sandwiches, mains, and desserts. Mains include everything from a blue cheese-encrusted New York strip steak ($19.95), to a lobster and shrimp fettuccini ($15.95) and Tuscan chicken ($12.95).
Sau’tee’s hours are from 11am to 10pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 11am to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
