July 09, 2007 - Over 5,000 unique visitors have been attracted to the site and page views currently stand at over 108,000. With ongoing regional advertising including flyering, web advertising and poster campaigns, figures are doing well for just one month of being on the web.
Once Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and selected parts of Lincolnshire are sufficiently saturated by the brand, plans to move into Essex will go ahead. Integration with multiple job posting sites is set to go ahead in the next few months which will further increase the profile and usability of the site. Talks are also underway with a major national job board with regards to butternutjobs becoming their representatives in East Anglia. With placements already confirmed our efforts to become a regional hub for recruitment are beginning to pay off.
A spokesperson from butternutjobs.com said;
“To have attracted over 5,000 unique visitors to the site in only its first month of trading is encouraging. We have been overwhelmed with the local response and have been approached by a number of big name national clients looking to use to use the system. The site looks like nothing else on the web today, and we have received a number of positive comments about our branding and unique feel. As always there is room for improvement and we are looking to substantially increase our figures in the coming months in order to stay competitive. We are in for a struggle to get to the top as the recruitment industry is highly competitive, but it seems we are definitely moving in the right direction.”
