Old Colony Elderly Services To Hold Free Workshop At Oak Point In Middleboro

With the goal of creating a greater awareness of the many resources available to elders, Old Colony Elderly Services, Inc. (OCES) of Brockton, Mass., will offer a workshop on Monday, September 10th from 7 to 8 p.m. at Oak Point community, 200 Oak Point Drive in Middleboro. The workshop is FREE and open to the public.


(1888PressRelease) September 07, 2007 - Dottie Slack, RN - Clinical Director and Marilyn Lynt, Assistant Development Director at OCES will provide attendees with information on a broad range of services including information and referral, case management, homemaker and home health aide. Information on specialty programs sponsored by OCES includes programs such as adult family care; family caregiver support, congregate housing; coordination of care; money management; nutrition; personal care attendant and protective services. A question and answer session will follow.

“This workshop is designed to educate people about our extensive services and how they may take advantage of our programs. Our long term goal is supporting seniors and helping them stay in their own homes as long as possible,” explained Ms. Lynt.

OCES serves elders and their families, as well as caregivers, in the towns of Abington, Avon, Bridgewater, Brockton, Carver, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Easton, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Kingston, Lakeville, Marshfield, Middleboro, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Rockland, Stoughton, Wareham, West Bridgewater and Whitman.
