Hired in an unanimous school board vote, Masevice brings years of school financial management experience to Open Door Christian Schools (ODCS) which is the largest Christian school from Cleveland to Toledo.

"Tony comes to us with an outstanding background in finance, schools and ministry," says Burton. "In just the first few days in the office, he has already begun to show his worth." Masevice's two most recent positions were as the Director of Finance for Annapolis Area Christian Schools from 2007-2011 and the Director of Financial Plans and Forecasts for Cleveland City Schools from 2000-2006. Tony is a Northeast Ohio native. Previous jobs include 15 years experience in strategic planning and financial analysis for Dominion East Ohio (managing the corporate planning and gas supply acquisition departments) and a three-year stint as the administrative pastor at his church.

"I am very impressed with the breadth and quality of educational programming presently in place at ODCS," says Masevice. "I look forward to applying my skills to help the school maximize the use of its financial resources."

Open Door Christian Schools (ODCS), founded in 1976, is a premier co-educational, college preparatory school serving Christian families in Northern Ohio. With an enrollment of over 500 students from preschool through high school, ODCS draws students from 120 different churches of various denominations in Lorain and Cuyahoga counties. ODCS is the only preschool-grade 12 school system within 60 miles of Elyria to receive accreditation by the Association of Christian Schools International. Its mission, in partnership with the family and local church, is the salvation, the discipleship, and the education for life and service of the students entrusted to its care. This mission is carried out in a Christian environment that is focused on educating the whole student-spiritually, academically, artistically, athletically and in service.
