July 06, 2008 - KANSAS CITY, MO.– Beyond educational seminars and symposiums, the National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) offers members and prospective members many ways to share knowledge and network together. Back by popular demand, the NPSA's summer event is a networking reception in conjunction with The Propeller Club's 2008 Crab Feast in Baltimore, Md. on August 14, 2008.
"You don't want to miss the annual Crab Feast gathering," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director of the National Portable Storage Association, or NPSA, a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry. "This networking reception gives you the best of both words – a venue of like-minded portable storage industry players looking for new business partners and some of the best crab in the country."
Crab Feasts are popular in Baltimore. That's because Maryland blue crabs from Chesapeake Bay are world famous. Crab season in Baltimore runs from May to October, the perfect time to gnosh on local blue crab, steamed crab with regional "Old Bay" seasoning, spicy crab soup, hard shell crab, king crab legs, crab cakes, and enjoy an open bar with music and games.
The networking reception will be held at the Courtyard Marriott at 1000 Aliceanna St. in Baltimore from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year's event is sponsored by K&K International, a storage and shipping container vendor sales and rental company in Baltimore. There is no fee to attend the reception. Crab Feast tickets are $75 each.
"The National Portable Storage Association isn't all work and no play – and the Crab Feast event proves it," said NPSA Operations Manager Joel Rathbone. "There are over 4,400 varieties of crabs, but Maryland has some of the world's best. We look forward to seeing you there."
