November 19, 2008 - KANSAS CITY, MO – As President-Elect Barack Obama prepares to settle into the White House, the National Portable Storage Association, or NPSA, is preparing a leadership change of its own.
The NPSA is pleased to announce it has named its new governing officers. The NPSA is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry. Its new board of directors works to help NPSA members embrace the opportunities and tackle the challenges of this growing industry.
The NPSA's new Chairman of the Board is Dale Payne of A Aamerican Container Leasing & Container in Tampa, Fla. "Our association is growing despite a down economy, and I'm looking forward to helping keep our membership on track to leverage the opportunities that will undoubtedly come our way in 2009," Payne said. "I am excited about our new board of directors and our plans to expand the services and capabilities of this association."
Payne is joined by newly-elected officers Tom Austin of Pac Van, Inc. in Indianapolis, Ind., Marc Caputo of Instant Storage in Bakersfield, Calif., Rick Nuckols of Container Technology in Atlanta, Ga., and Dan Sullivan of A Plus Rental in Wareham, Mass.
The NPSA has also announced that Marc Caputo of Instant Storage in Bakersfield, Calif. has moved from Director to Secretary, Kevin Smith of Equipment Management Services in Houston, Texas has moved from Asst. Treasurer to Treasurer, and Terri Hackett of Arizona Storage Rental in Phoenix, Ariz. has moved from Chairman to Counselor.
