March 31, 2007 - The North Carolina Education Ball, a fundraising event for Communities In Schools of North Carolina (CISNC), once again has the support of major state-wide corporations. GlaxoSmithKline will be the Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Education Ball entitled, An International Affair.
Other main sponsors include RBC Centura as the Invest In Success Sponsor, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina as the Celebrate Leaders Sponsor, ABC11 WTVD as the Media Sponsor, and Progress Energy will serve as this year’s H. Glenn Williams Power of One Awards Sponsor. In addition, this year’s Graeme M. Keith Student Leadership Award Sponsor is Wal-Mart; BB&T and Cisco are Platinum Sponsors; and Bank of America and Stop Studios will serve as Gold Sponsors. The annual ball honors educators and those involved with education across the state.
