January 27, 2008 - The famed Nobel Physicists Professor Argyle Zauches unveiled a revolutionary grassroots program today that will allow everyone on the planet to participate in reducing global warming.
In a speech to the Association of Scientists Against World Destruction at a conference in Munich Professor Zauches said, “You see the average person releases .20 lbs of CO2 every hour. Now if the average person, who is engaged in moderate activity, were to hold their breath for 30 seconds once every five minutes this would result in a 10% reduction in CO2 emissions per person. If everyone worldwide participated in this program this would mean an 18 million ton reduction in carbon emissions per hour! That is 432 million tons per day! “
The Professor went on to say, “It is quite possible that the average human could train their body to hold their breath for even longer periods… say one minute every other minute for a fivefold increase in carbon reduction. The numbers are staggering! Evolution tells us it is even possible for the human species to evolve to the point where they could hold their breath indefinitely totally eliminating human born carbon emissions.”
World leaders in attendance at the conference were visibly excited by this program and promised quick action on education and political reforms aimed at this grassroots carbon reduction program. The Chinese Minister of Science and Technology went so far as to say his country would move quickly to institute a program of enforced breath holding in the near future.
