December 27, 2007 - New York, NY - This is a feature length documentary about the unsung African American soldiers of WWII. Propelled by the influences of Mike Ellis, Spike Lee and James McBride; Adrain Washington the writer/director of the project set out to express respect, love, and admiration for the men who gave up so much for so little in return.
Mr. Washington states "This documentary is just the tip of the iceberg." Continuing, he states "The history for the documentary was very easy to follow; it took on a life of its own, as though it told me where to go to find the information and the people I was looking for." The Italian producer on the project, Fred Kuwornu agrees that this and other projects like it need to be made for the re-education of the world and all the countries that were involved in the WWII. "The imagery caught in words and expressions of the interviewees are breath-taking to say the least", says the self-made Director/Producer Adrain Washington.
