April 17, 2009 - Bradenton, FL – The owners of NiteLites Outdoor Lighting, Randy and Becky White, are one of the sponsors of the Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee 16th Annual Tropical Nights event because they want to “shine a light” on an organization that helps so many local people in need.
NiteLites provides outdoor landscape and security lighting to many residences and commercial businesses in the Sarasota and Bradenten area, and throughout Manatee County.
“There are so many elderly and disabled people right here in Manatee County who struggle to make ends meet, so when they get a noon-time meal from Meals on Wheels Plus it makes a big difference in their quality of life,” explained Becky White, who is also on the Meals on Wheels Plus board of directors.
The Whites are silver sponsors of the annual fund-raising event to support their mission to assist individuals to live independently by providing nutrition and caring supportive services.
“People look forward to this fun event every year. It is a casual evening to enjoy delicious southwestern gourmet cuisine, while sipping Margaritas and listening to a strolling mariachi band. The evening also includes the opportunity to participate in several raffles, auctions, and dancing to the Shaman band,” she added.
