October 23, 2007 - Jon Hare, "Nikitova Games" Director of Development confirms that origination of first party and third party IP titles on Nintendo and Sony platforms will dominate the company’s full game development activity in 2008.
“Nikitova's strategic sale to Oberon Games of development studio, Kenjitsu (St. Petersburg, Russia), clearly signifies our intent to continue to focus and grow our full games development work around the Nintendo Wii & DS and Sony PS2 platforms during the coming year” said Jon Hare.
Being given an additional role of Oberon’s VP of Online Publishing Eastern Europe Olya Nikitova will oversee the execution of Oberon’s expansion plans in Eastern Europe and will continue to lead Nikitova.
“For Nikitova in general it is 'business as usual' and under Olya Nikitova leadership it will continue to remain one of the world's strongest providers of art assets production and game programming for hire on all platforms including casual games platforms, whilst Nikitova Mobile porting and Nikitova Animation also remain unaffected by Nikitova Games' new strategy" Jon Hare continued.
