November 23, 2008 - Origin Sports, a new winter sports business offering ski and snowboard holiday advice and property rentals direct with owners and operators, used the recent British Ski and Board Show 2008 at the Birmingham NEC to launch its ski and snowboard holiday website www.originsports.co.uk.
Origin Sports founder, Antony Cooke, said “we’re really pleased with the positive feedback we received at the show and we’ve seen lots more people visiting the website to look for their ski holiday accommodation. We’ve also had some great new rental properties added to the site and we’re really pleased with the way things are going at this early stage in our company’s development.”
The Origin Sports website features a growing property directory featuring some excellent quality winter sports holiday accommodation around the world but unlike many property rental sites www.originsports.co.uk has been developed to provide site visitors with a wealth of general information and advice on all aspects of ski and snowboard holidays. Visitors can browse numerous comprehensive articles on subjects such as how to decide on the right type of winter sports holiday, when and where to go, pre-holiday preparations, travel tips, and advice on the correct clothing and equipment. Antony said “we’re delighted that since the show lots of people have been browsing through the holiday information pages. It appears that all the research we carried out to provide visitors with information they need to choose a holiday that’s right for them was all worthwhile”.
Since the show, there has also been an increase in ski and snowboard holiday rental accommodation added to the site’s property directory, indicating that the new website’s comprehensive property listings pages are appealing to accommodation owners as well as those looking for a ski and snowboard holiday. Antony said “one of the main aims of the site is to offer ski and snowboard accommodation owners and operators a first class marketing platform on which they can promote their businesses as they see fit. To this end we’ve created listing pages that allow owners to upload multiple images and provided large description areas meaning owners can describe their properties in as much detail as they want.”
