February 08, 2008 - Montgomery, AL - SavePlus Energy is cleaning house and the results have been life altering. The Montgomery, Al business is setting their sights on cleaning so-called dirty electricity in homes and businesses.
Research by Professor Magada Havas of Trent University and Dr. Martin Graham of the University of California Berkley revealed that the use of small plug-in electricity filters reduce the poor power quality generated by electronics in our homes and businesses. Results of several studies by Professor Havas have shown the use of these filters not only clean dirty electricity but they reduce symptoms associated with electrical hypersensitivity, including chronic fatigue, depression and headaches, but have positive effects for those with diabetes and multiple sclerosis.
Buck Buchanan, SavePlus Energy General Manager, reports that five case studies involving the use of dirty electricity filters were presented at a World Health Organization (WHO) workshop on hypersensitivity in Prague. The WHO presentation included information that likened electrical hypersensitivity as similar to chemical sensitivity, and in some cases may be the cause of unexplained body aches and pains, headaches and that foggy-brain feeling. “Professor Havas’ research indicates that often one of the first signs of electrical hypersensitivity, is sensitivity to fluorescent lighting and fluorescent lights are the cause of some to dirtiest electricity found in homes and offices” continued Buchanan.
Trent University research suggests that dirty electricity may be contributing to electrical hypersensitivity and that as much as 50 percent of the population may be hypersensitive. The SavePlus General Manger added that even though this is a novel concept, that in each of the case studies, health benefits including improved sleep, reduced blood sugar in diabetics, reduced body aches and headaches and symptoms associated with multiple sclerosis as well as reduced ringing in the ears for tinnitus sufferers, have been realized.
