April 10, 2009 - New Hyde Park, NY, USA - A new series of Corrosion Resistant Pull-Down Latches from All Metric Small Parts (aMsp) is designed for various types of boxes and transportation equipment. Because springs are used, a tightening force is applied when the latch is closed.
Since the latch is stainless steel it has excellent corrosion resistance. The holes for a padlock are on the side, preserving the appearance even when there is no lock. 3-D CAD models are available for download at the aMsp Web site.
