June 13, 2008 - There will be classrooms to visit, materials to browse, and the Headmaster and members of the Board of Directors and faculty available to answer questions.
Classical education has made a phenomenal return to the field of education across the country in the last few decades, and currently there are at least 205 schools with over 29,000 students enrolled in the Association of Classical and Christian Schools alone.
The finest in every field of study sets the standards in the classical classroom. Students graduating from classical Christian schools are demonstrating the ability to make sound judgments and decisions and are able to recognize true virtue and wholesomeness in today’s complicated cultural landscape. In addition, these students are scoring exceptionally well on standardized tests and achieving high levels of success as they further their education at the finest schools in the nation.
“We believe that we will be offering families on the South Shore the absolute best that a school has to offer” said Mrs. McKenna. “Along with teaching from a biblical worldview, we will be using classical content and classical methods that have stood the test of time. Our standards will be high, and order and beauty will be emphasized in the classroom.”
The public is invited to come out and share refreshments, meet the leadership of the school, and learn more about classical Christian education.
About the Samuel Fuller School
Opening in September 2008, Samuel Fuller School will begin with grades K through 3 and add a grade each year thereafter. Classes will be held in the Christian Education Building of the First Congregational Church, 6 Plympton Street, Middleboro, Mass.
