June 26, 2008 - Wilderness Family Naturals' Co-Owners Ken and Annette Fischer recently unveiled their new "Healthy Addictions" Line of delicious, Certified Organic Health Food Bars. Currently there are three varieties of the Healthy Additions Bar: "Coconut Ambrosia", "Coco Bliss" and the "Green Food Feast Bar".
Healthy Addictions Raw, Certified Organic Food Bars
Coconut Ambrosia
The Certified Organic Coconut Ambrosia Bar is made with raw coconut, raw agave syrup, raw almond butter, vanilla, orange oil and almond extract. This bar is high in medium chain fatty acids and fiber because of the large amount of coconut. In addition, since only raw agave is used for sweetening, this bar has a low glycemic response. Coconut Ambrosia is made of 99.8% raw ingredients and incredibly delicious.
Coco Bliss
Do you remember the CocoJoy bar? It was a raw coconut cream treat wrapped by hand with chocolate. Well, Wilderness Family Naturals has redesigned this bar and created a delicious new bar called “Coco Bliss”. The certified organic bar begins with nugget center comprised of raw coconut, raw almond butter, and raw agave syrup. This delicious center is then sandwiched between two layers of “raw chocolate” composed solely of a raw cacao and raw agave. Coco Bliss is high in medium chain fatty acids and fiber because of the large amount of coconut. Raw cacao powder, another strategic ingredient, is antioxidant rich and contains important minerals.
