May 21, 2008 - North Carolina – The first of a five part book series, “Of Atlantis” is an epic fantasy novel based on the king of Atlantis know as Archimedes. The breakthrough epic fantasy is written by new and self-taught author Lanaia Lee, a resident of Burlington, North Carolina. The book was released May 17 to celebrate the author’s 51st birthday.
The 196-page book, published by Roval Publishing, North Richland Hills, Texas, explores the life of Archimedes, a child blessed with a source of untapped power and who is much misunderstood by his family and subjects. Only his mother, Queen Cheris, knows the truth. The reader experiences Archimedes journey as he rises to king and rebuffs bitter rivals. Archimedes was proud, he was regal, he was Of Atlantis.
Author Lanaia Lee is no stranger to tragedy of her own and uses that life experience to bring this story to life. After suffering a stroke at the age of 35, Lanaia discovered she had God-given literary talent. She and her reviewers consider her writing skill to be divine intervention.
She lives with her beloved Jack Russell terrier and third husband, David in Burlington, North Carolina where she continues to work on the “Of Atlantis” series.
