Iowa City, IA (1888PressRelease)
December 06, 2007 - A new online e-zine is shaping up to be a powerful contender in the world of online news for Muscatine. The Muscazine, an entirely-online news source, has been working towards becoming the most up-to-date, accurate news source anywhere online.
"We have some great features so far," webmaster Ryan Kopf said. "We've been making it easier and easier to submit stories. Getting the news is our first priority."
And a priority it is. They have been asking for press releases from anyone who might send one - and have been looking as often as they can for news stories, without simply duplicating information found on other local sites. One story about a local downtown business for sale is found nowhere else. New features add to their submission speed. Users can txt or pix news stories to news -aht- muscazine.com to submit breaking news anytime.
"It's really easy to write stories for the Muscazine," said one writer Christine Aber.
The website is considering doing even more to reach out to local web surfers. They have been considering adding job listings, and possibly even making the listings free! Other features planned include email updates to subscribers, which can be selected to be sent on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
"New features, less errors, a cool place to find the most recent news," began Kopf, "That's what we want to do here."
