New Enhanced Version Of ArBa3d, The 3d-modeling Software Based On Photos

ArBa3d.com Announces the Availability of ArBa3d Version 3.2.1, a major release of the 3D-modeling software based on photos.

(1888PressRelease) March 02, 2008 - Montréal, Québec - ArBa3d.com today announced the release and immediate availability of ArBa3d 3.2.1, the latest version of the 3D-modeling tool based on photos, used to extract 3d-models from images.
This new version greatly improves the quality of the generated models, through a series of new features and several improvements.

"We’re pleased to deliver this version of ArBa3d, designed to meet the specific needs of our customers.
We have been listening them and we followed their advice when we made these improvements to our software", said the founder of ArBa3d.com.

ArBa3d v3.2.1 Features Expanded Functionality:
. Image distortion - The distortion in the images due to the lens, Barrel or Pincushion distortion, can be corrected. This simplifies and improves the extraction of rectangular shapes.
. Polygon subdivision - Each polygon is automatically subdivided in smaller triangles, to avoid image distortion inside the polygon. The subdivision is based on a simple user parameter.
. Calilbration - The calibration process has been improved. The calibration consists in determining the position and orientation of the camera when the photo was taken.
. 3d-model export - New output formats are available: OpenFlight (*.flt), Web3D (*.x3d), Google Earth (*.kml).
. Auto-help - The tool continuously analyzes the project and shows help topics depending on the overall progress. This feature is specifically designed to help new users to start a project from scratch.

Users can download a free trial version of the new release (limited to 30 days and limited features) from ArBa3d's Website at www.ArBa3d.com.
