New Business Growth Resource Available For Central Jersey Businesses

Young business professionals from Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Union, Monmouth and Mercer counties now have the opportunity to participate in a local business growth resource that strives to advance and enhance local communities and businesses.

Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, NJ (1888PressRelease) February 16, 2008 - The Central Jersey Professional Group (CJPG) was formed in 2007 with the purpose of bringing together young professionals (less than 40 years of age) from all over Central New Jersey in order to build strong professional relationships, increase networking opportunities, and educate and support the local community.

Since its founding, the CJPG has continued to add more young professionals and serve as an all-in-one resource for a wide variety of business needs. Currently, 13 businesses from diverse industries, including accounting, advertising/marketing, legal, medical, financial, among others, are members of the organization, yet they are always looking to expand and attract new members who believe that they can benefit from the knowledge and expertise of other young professionals such as themselves.

Co-founder of the CJPG, Paxton Galvanek, states that “First and foremost the mission of the CJPG is to support the growth and success of young professionals in our area. As a young business owner myself, I knew that it was important for us to develop strong relationships in order to advance our careers and the success of the local business community. We’ve expanded the influence of the CJPG to go beyond that of a traditional business growth resource by supporting local non-profits and charities as well.”

In addition to offering free seminars on issues relevant to conducting business in today’s global market, such as recent presentations on the importance of having a web presence and an informative discussion on new business laws, the CJPG also hosts events that benefit the local community and various charitable organizations. Recent projects in development include an upcoming fundraiser for “Smiles for Kids,” a local charity, in March of 2008 and career days at local high schools to educate students on potential career paths and the importance of continuing education.

The Central Jersey Professional Group meets every first and third Thursday of the month. If you would like more information or if you are interested in becoming a member of the CJPG, please visit www.cjpg.org or call (908) 722-3534 x 101.
