April 01, 2008 - The first act consists of their newest production, “Take This Job &” , a sitcom “dramady” which mixes drama with comedy, utilizing the workplace environment of Humble Abode Life Financial Services (H.A.L.F.). H.A.L.F. is a fictitious financial services company that specializes in subprime financing, where their motto is “we take half your stuff”. The company is being used as a microcosm to address controversial issues with pearls of wisdom and inspiration which will air every Monday starting with the premiere episode on Monday, April 7, 2008. The production will be available on YouTube.com, GodTube.com, Video.Google.com, MySpaceTV.com, Video.Yahoo.com, BlipTV, Video.MSN.com, & Facebook.com with future broadcasts on Comcast & CAN-TV. In addition, each episode will be featured and archived on the company’s website at www.NewBeginingTV.com, which also features resources coinciding with the show’s topic and local artists to promote new talent in the area.
The production’s cast & crew consists of Board Members Anita Clinton, Founder & Marketing Director; Ronald Rembert, Jr., CEO & Music Director who plays “Flex the Security Guard”; Brenda L. Stovall, COO, Director & Screenwriter; Pamoja Rallings-Woodard, CFO & Casting Director who plays “Eva Wiggins the Receptionist”; Kitty Williams, CKO & Media Director who plays “LaQuita Jenkins the disgruntled Credit Analyst”; Jody Bruce, CTI & Producer; and Iris T. London, Fashion Director who plays “Riva the Diva”.
The remaining cast members are seasoned local area thespians including Walt Sloan who plays “Vito Marconi”, owner of H.A.L.F.; his wife, “Jo Marie” played by Francine Locke; his sons, “Frankie & Tony” played by Jack Guasta & Jim Moore; family friend “Giovanna Calabrese” played by Laura Strogny; “Char from HR” played by Sharon Kluge; “Chatty Patty” played by Tierza Scaccia; “Bruce Yee” played by Henry Chu; “Brother Most Conscious” played by Lorenzo Webber; as well as new comers and local area poets Elijah “Lips of Anointed Wisdom” Garmon who plays “Brother Roberts” and Erica “Reign” Patrick who plays Angelica Martin.
