Aware of the need for building designers to achieve safe, economic, legislative compliant, and attractive solutions for stair/walkway safety fittings, Miles Nelson has launched the revolutionary Lumos® illuminated handrail bracket.
This bracket breaks the boundaries of function and design by providing access way lighting incorporated within the bracket body. This development simplifies the installation of safety railing and illumination into one convenient unit.
Suitable for interior domestic and commercial use, safety features include cold light with no heat generated to injure hands and a 12 Volt DC power supply giving the potential for use as emergency lighting with appropriate equipment. Lumos® complies with BIA acceptable solution D1/AS1 for stairway and access routes.
Utilizing the latest LED lighting technology, this product is environmentally friendly having very low power consumption and exceptional bulb life. The brackets load capacity exceeds 800kg each under static load.
