February 27, 2007 - This is the belief from two beggars Bruce and Vin who have taken their journey hightech and launched a website.
These two men are not your average beggars though. They have families, good secure jobs, houses and autos. They are not so different then those individuals reading this right now. What makes them different though is they are taking action towards reaching their dreams and goals. So what is it that they are after? They are after the so called good life. The good life defined by these two consists of not having to work any longer, driving Porsches, having more time with family, traveling the world and being able to pay off their houses.
Bruce and Vin know that internet begging is nothing new. Finding something new now adays is somewhat difficult. They are however taking it to a higher level. They are not down and out and actually are not even in need of the money. That is what makes this story so interesting. Taking it to the net and asking for help in fulfilling their dreams. They are out to "Make it happen" and then turn this story into "Made it happen"
Anyways, the website (
www.internetbeggar.us.tc) is worth a visit. If you actually donate something well that is up to you. Personally, their openness and honesty somewhat has inspired me enough to through a couple of dollars into the hat. After all, wouldn't you rather help pay for a blinker of a Porsche then support the next bottle of Thunderbird?
