July 02, 2009 - For non-native speakers learning Chinese, things just got a whole lot easier. Chinese-English learning resource nciku has opened their Question and Answer Board to include all foreign languages, not just Chinese and English. Now, native speakers of Spanish, German, Italian, French, Japanese, Portuguese, etc., can ask questions their native language.
Known to by its member base as being one of the few learning websites that truly transform to cater to its audience's needs, nciku.com has always been an advocate of turning to their users to find out what they want. Noting the growing number of international visitors, nciku saw the need to expand its Q&A Board to accept questions in all languages and in turn, do their best to provide answers to the questions. Questions from every language under the sun will be received by nciku, making it a limitless source of learning.
No doubt this will be a well-received by its users, who are already extremely loyal to the website. This is just one of many recent improvements nciku has made to their website, which was completely redesigned in June 2009 to create a better user experience for its visitors.
Currently, Nciku is known for being more than a dictionary with other features such as iPhone flashcards, Sentence Mode, Handwriting Recognition Tool, and Nciku Mini for mobile devices. Nciku was founded in April, 2007. Currently, Nciku is available in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese, but development is in process to add more languages in the future.
