September 19, 2009 - The National Funding Association, Inc. (www.nationalfunding.org) has announced the launch of a new chapter for the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. The chapter’s inaugural meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at North Ridge Country Club, located at 6612 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh. John E. Silvia, Ph.D, chief economist of Wells Fargo & Company, will present “Credit and the Economic Outlook” to meeting attendees.
The advance cost of the lunch meeting for members, non-members and guests is $35 and includes admission, drink, salad, entree and dessert. NFA annual chapter membership is $75.
The NFA is a networking organization for financial professionals whose members provide funding and services. The association is committed to creating deal flow and networking opportunities for its members.

- Dr. Silvia holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Ph.D. degree in economics from Northeastern University in Boston and has a Master's degree in economics from Brown University in Providence, R.I.
