National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Bill Wren as a Professional Member of the Executive and Professionals Online Registry

- Corpus Christi, TX (1888PressRelease) July 30, 2014 - Bill Wren, Chief Executive Officer of PonderDust Publishing, LLC, has been selected as a Professional of the Year Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.
Founded in 2012, Bill Wren serves as CEO of PonderDust Publishing, a music publishing company that allows him to use his creative side to not only run the business, but seek out new talent and promote music. He is an award-winning writer who brings years of experience to the small group of four that comprise the business, and his music has been played on Sirius XM, Direct TV, and Dish Networks, and two PonderDust projects to date.
Mr. Wren was first introduced to music by his grandparents before he could even walk or talk. Classical music was often played in his house growing up and it didn't take long for him to want to learn to play some instruments.
"My grandparents took me to a college football game when I was about six- or seven-years-old," Mr. Wren remembers. "But I was much more interested in the marching band playing than the football game. I wanted to see it up close so I could hear, feel, and experience the music. I believe it was at that point the spirit of music entered into me."
The founder and previous CEO of a very successful manufacturing company called Hewitt Machine & Tool, Inc. for 23 years, Mr. Wren knows what it takes to run a business. As far as his music was concerned though, he had to rely on his God-given talents and his experience playing in bands all his life to see it through. Over the past two years, Mr. Wren has been working hard to develop PonderDust Publishing, and he sees it someday becoming a premier business that can produce and publish some significant new talent. As for the music he writes, it has taken on a life of its own and is doing quite well. Some of his music has been played worldwide on New Age/Smooth Jazz radio, on satellite radio, and on television, including Direct TV, the Dish Network, SoundScape, and on several airlines. He hopes to soon branch out to do music for movies and for more television, as he believes that his music would be a great fit for this genre.
Mr. Wren attended Texas State College and a member of American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. He has been recognized many times for his contributions to the field, including first place for his single, 'Day Break', in the Indie International Songwriting Contest, an organization that gives semi-annual recognition to some of the best emerging songwriters in the world. Mr. Wren was also nominated through ZMR for Best New Songwriter of the Year, Best Album of the Year, Best Cover Art, Best Contemporary Album of the Year, and Hollywood Music in Media Awards for the song 'Between Heaven and Earth' off of his 'Journey Around the Sun: A Mayan Odyssey' CD. He was also a UK Songwriter artist finalist and won the 100% Music Songwriter Award.
