- Waco, TX (1888PressRelease) June 27, 2014 - Rain A. Thompson, a former US Air Force ammunition specialist, served her country for four years in active duty. Returning to her hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming, she became a stay-at-home mom for some time, returning to work as a temp employee answering phones and later selling plumbing products. After three years with that company, she had the opportunity to work with WinWholesale, first as a warehouse/delivery driver before advancing into an office position. Seven years later, she became president of a local company, Waco Winnelson, in Waco, Texas.
"This was a huge step for me and my family," Mrs. Thompson explained, noting that she had to uproot her family to Texas. "I was so humbled by the support and faith my family had in me."
Taking nearly a year to settle in to her new job and get everything in order, Mrs. Thompson is now in her eighth year with the company. She is looking forward to a good year and a future full of growth and prosperity.
