The selection recognizes Dave Reed's commitment to excellence in Customs, Logistics, and Consulting.

    Dave Reed, who holds a Certified Customs Specialist designation and is a licensed US Customs Broker through the US Customs and Border Protection for the past 20 years, started his career in the customs brokerage industry in 1994 in an entry-level position.

    Now the vice-president of operations for his firm, Mr. Reed oversees US, Canadian, and Mexico Customs business units, IT, and accounting with 25 direct reports. He is responsible for company P&L, corporate governance, project management, and short- and long-term strategic business planning. As a big proponent of continuous improvement, Mr. Reed logs many hours of training in areas of Customs import/export, Microsoft tools, project management, as well as coaching and leadership skills.

    Mr. Reed is a member of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of American for the past 11 years. He also volunteers his time by coaching his son's baseball team to which he won a Citizen of the Year Award from the town of Lewiston.
