National Assistance League Hosts Charter Ceremony for Raleigh Chapter

Assistance League of Raleigh Recognized for Volunteer Efforts.


Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) September 19, 2009 - On September 24, 2009 at the Capital City Club in Raleigh, National Assistance League will honor Assistance League of Raleigh by moving the organization from guild to full chapter status.

The Chartering Ceremony will recognize Assistance League of Raleigh for its vibrant presence in the community as a guild. Assistance League of Raleigh members have volunteered time, energy and support to provide programs for at risk children and the elderly in the Raleigh community.

Last year, Assistance League of Raleigh met their requirements instilled by national and raised more than $50,000 through fundraisers that supported their philanthropic programs, H.O.P.E For Kids, Operation School Bell® and Silver Slippers.

Brenda Griffin, President of Assistance League of Raleigh, explained, “These accomplishments enabled Assistance League to be brought into the national fold of chapters, adding another golden link to the chain.”
