(1888PressRelease) April 05, 2007 - Nachi Robotic Systems Inc. has introduced new brand names for each of its robot series. These names reflect the artisanship of Nachi robots and highlights their superior features.

The "Presto" brand name is applied to a group of welding and general material handling robots. Presto, a musical term, describes the quickness and vigor of these robots. The group includes robots of payloads 5 kg to 200 kg - the Nachi VS Series, MV Series, MA Series, SC Lightweight Series, SH Series, ST Series, and SG Series.

The "Forte" brand name emphasizes the strength and power of the high payload Nachi robots. The Forte group is comprised of the SC Heavyweight Series robots with payloads of 300kg to 700kg.

The "Artis" group features robots that perform their work as if it were an art. The robots are capable of handling delicate large-glass substrates and other applications. These clean-rated robots consist of the SH133C/SH166C robots and the SJ Series.
