October 15, 2008 - n|Frame, Indiana’s most experienced high-availability data center services provider, announced today the successful completion of its Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II audit, relating to their data center co-location and managed services platforms. The independent audit evaluated and examined these n|Frame services over a 12-month period. Specific aspects of evaluation included the organization and administration of n|Frame’s data center and managed services, operational and network controls, physical security, environmental controls (such as power and cooling) and managed services controls.
SAS 70 Type II is an auditing standard used by service organizations to proactively disclose internal business processes and security practices to their clients. This third-party examination is performed in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. n|Frame commissioned Crowe Horwath LLP (formerly Crowe Chizek and Company LLC), one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the United States, to conduct the independent audit.
