Mylifetoday.com, A New And Fast-Growing Social Network Site Created For "Grown-Ups" Debuts

MyLifeToday.com is a new and fast-growing social network site created for "grown-ups", or "people past the age of consent"…anyone who feels they've outgrown MySpace® and FaceBook®. MyLifeToday.com is an active aggregate site, where users can read news and articles posted daily, make scrapbooks, join groups and make new social contacts all in one.

(1888PressRelease) November 20, 2007 - MyLifeToday.com, the entity that developed the site, is composed of writers, artists, programmers and other business principals who created a social community framework to be built up by the members. Membership is free. According to the developers, this is a place to gather information, voice opinions, share experiences, seek advice and meet new people.

A casual visitor can read any of the various current-event articles and news items under general categories such as Health & Wellness, Travel & Leisure, Money & Finance. When that visitor decides to post a comment about the article, they must sign up to become a member, which very simply entails creating a user name and password. The member has an option to create a personal profile with real data and photos or an avatar. Members can participate in all the social offerings and can then begin to create a "community to their liking".

Members can join groups or create new groups on any subject. This forum offers a way to connect with like-minded members. Members have access to "meet" other members by creating a list of "Friends" (other members) that can be selected by a variety of criteria, such as zip code, country or age group. Friends can send messages to one another safely within the bounds of the site. Private email addresses are not revealed as personal security is well-guarded on the site. Members can also build digital scrapbooks very easily by creating a title and subject and inserting digital photos or images from their personal computer and adding descriptive text. Scrapbooks can be made public (available to any casual visitor), private (available to members only) or "invitation-only", where individuals are invited to view the scrapbook via an email invitation that will provide a password to access the scrapbook. Family or personal photos can be displayed in a fun and dynamic environment. Members can post comments about the scrapbooks.

This is just a bit of what's available on MyLifeToday.com. Expand the edges of your world with current thoughts, discussion groups and digital scrapbooks to cover a wide range of issues. And, it's free.
