April 26, 2009 - Veterinarians and Animal Behaviorists have supported the use of relaxing music to minimize the destructive behaviors related to separation anxiety and hyperactivity. As a composer and creator of both CDs and DVDs, I believe they do create a peaceful environment by masking other environmental noises that can trigger anxiety, excitement and barking.
What makes these CDs different from regular music CDs? I have been a professional composer for over twenty years. I started to notice a change in my own pets behavior depending on what I played on the piano. They listened all the time and I started to realize they reacted differently to different songs. I noticed a definite change in their behavior. By experimenting with different tones and rhythms, I incorporated all the positive reactions I received into my own compositions.
