Thus far this year, MusicDish*China has been an official media sponsor for Jue Festival and Midi Music (both in Beijing/Shanghai) as well as upcoming Music Matters (Singapore), Black Rabbit (Shanghai) and Love Peace Festival (Wuhan).
Held on May 25-27 at the CD Blues Bar & Cafe, The Beijing Blues Festival 2012 will feature 23 international and local acts covering a whole spectrum of blues music - from country blues to funk to rockabilly. It will be celebration of the blossoming blues traditions taking place around Asia and will showcase many outstanding international and local artists. The cult US music festival, Hitweek, dedicated to changing outdated ideas about modern Italian music and culture, finally arrives in China where ground breaking superstar acts from Italy will join forces with China's finest to challenge preconceptions about what both countries are producing musically. International Electro-Rock pioneers SUBSONICA, Hard Rock giants NEGRITA, and Indie phenomenon LA FAME DE CAMILLA clash with Southern Folk-Rockers SHANREN and Chinese Indie legend ZHOU YUNSHAN for two nights in Beijing at TANGO 3rd Floor (Star Live) and two nights in Shanghai at MAO LIVE.
