July 31, 2007 - Cultivating a Culture of Teamwork has been designated as Mobile Technical Institute’s featured seminar for August. The class is scheduled for Friday, August 24 from 9 am - noon at the MTI campus for a special featured seminar rate of $20.00.
This seminar emphasizes different strategies for effective conflict management, and is designed to provide attendees with practical suggestions for improving the way they deal with conflict in the workplace.
Just because people are employed by the same company does not mean that they see themselves as a team or that they engage in teamwork. Working together is not the same thing as teamwork. This seminar covers practical tips and techniques for cultivating a culture of teamwork within organizations. Topics covered include the functions and purposes of work teams, stages of team development, cohesiveness, managing team conflict, and more.
