October 23, 2009 - MrsP.com (www.MrsP.com), the award winning interactive digital storybook website for children, today released its Halloween classics in the Magic Library. MrsP.com creates and publishes free video stories read and performed by acclaimed T.V. actress Kathy Kinney. All storybook titles are available for free viewing on the MrsP.com website. The new Halloween classics, in addition to Mrs. P’s other stories, can also be downloaded for offline viewing through Audible.com and iTunes.com under the “Mrs. P Presents’ banner. Offering the titles as digital downloads makes it easier than ever for parents to provide educational and entertaining content choices for their children on whatever device they choose.
The titles released just in time for Halloween, include stories such as "The Hand" by Guy de Maupassant, generally considered the greatest French short story writer, "The Monkey's Paw" by WW Jacobs, "The Tell Tale Heart" by the master of macabre, Edgar Allan Poe, and “Nightmare” by WS Gilbert. Mrs. P has these titles housed in her special attic room, full of Spooktacular special effects and games. The Halloween collection joins over 38 other children’s classic stories in the library from such famed authors as The Brothers Grimm, Hans, Christian Anderson, Beatrix Potter, and Lewis Carroll.
MrsP.com has no advertising and is completely free, making it a fun and educational online destination for teachers, parents and children. The site also contains interactive games, coloring sheets to download, and activity guides to accompany chapter books like “Alice in Wonderland”. Every story also offers read along options so children can see the words, which is helpful to early readers, and ESL students.
