January 17, 2008 - A new course is to begin in Reading, Berkshire on Monday 11 February. ‘Moving On Up’ is designed to help men and women who are going through a divorce.
The six-week course will help individuals explore who they are, and look towards the future.
With divorce statistics currently so high and experts predicting that this January will be particularly rife with break-ups, such a service appears to have come at the right time.
People who attend the course will receive free advice from divorce lawyers and financial advisors, develop a support network, learn strategies for getting rid of negative emotions, increase their self-esteem and develop the tools necessary to create a life they love.
The workshops are being led by Annie O’Neill, who is a qualified Divorce Coach and NLP Practitioner. Annie says “I think that there is very little support for divorced people. Divorce has an enormous effect on your life – it is very similar to being widowed but the support network is not there and I hope to go some way towards providing both practical and emotional support with these workshops”.
