August 13, 2007 - Drydock Film Corporation is looking for cowboys, outlaws, and townspeople to film at the Circle M City western set in Sanford this week for the movie MARSHALS, I.T. starring teenager Brooke Hidde, Jim Damron, Matthew Coleman, and Veteran Actress Glenda Bean.
Many parts of the film have already been shot in Virginia around the studio there and sets nearby. Drydock's first feature film MORNING SONG WAY is currently winning awards around the country in film festivals and gained national attention when young actress Jennifer Redbird allegedly had a feud with Paris Hilton back in March. MARSHALS, I.T. is loosely based upon a true story and real life historical character Bass Reeves, a deputy United States Marshal who brought over 3,000 outlaws to justice in the Oklahoma Indian Territory between 1873 and the turn of the century. According to the director, the film fits in the ultra NO budget film category.
Evenso, the movie has over a hundred regular cast members and is calling for many more extras, stunt men, and outlaws for the shoot at Sanford. Interested parties should report directly to Circle M City Tuesday afternoon at 4 P.M. to sign up. People who can provide their own 1888 era western clothing will be strongly considered first. All positions will be paid upon sale of the film and range from 60-150 dollars per day.
