August 29, 2008 - Miami – Accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP, has been named as the 45th largest firm in the nation, according to a special report released in the August 2008 issue of leading trade publication, INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA). The firm was also recognized in this same report for its record-breaking growth, as one of only five firms nationwide to have achieved more than 15% growth each and every year for the past five years.
Published annually, the “IPA Top 100” is the most accurate listing of the nation’s 100 largest accounting firms based on fiscal performance. The Top 100 is the longest running and most comprehensive independent analysis focusing on the management and operations of America’s large local, regional and national firms.
MBAF jumped five spots from last year, based on its 2007 fiscal year-end net revenues which exceeded $55 million, representing a 22% increase from the previous fiscal year-end. This growth far exceeded the Top 100 average rate of 14 percent.
For the first time ever, the IPA100 also included a measurement to reveal the most admired professionals within the industry. MBAF’s managing partner, Tony Argiz, was named as one of the “Top Five Most Admired Peers,” which was determined by surveying industry leaders nationwide.

In addition to the individual rankings, the IPA report names the associations with which the top 20 fastest-growing firms are affiliated. MBAF is a member of the Leading Edge Alliance which claims seven of the Top100 firms as its members to take the number one spot. The next association lists three firms.
