June 05, 2008 - Money Partners has now been added to the panel of lenders of the Alliance of Mortgage Packagers and Distributors. This would now mean that the specialist mortgage products which are offered by Money Partners will now be available to the members of the AMPD.
The reasons for the appointment of Money Partners to the lenders panel are the new procedures from the AMPD and their implementation which aims to improve the structure of reporting and payment. Also, the setting up of a financial compensation scheme for customers is being cited as a reason for this.
The improvements that have been proposed come under the new method of policing the members and their protection. This plan had come into effect from last month.
Liza Campion, the lender relationship manager for AMPD, says, “The AMPD is striving towards maintaining strong relationships with the lender panel members. It is very important for the AMPD to have a strong foundation with trustworthy lenders like Money Partners.”
