Each month, the magazine’s On the Job section, profiles a successful mompreneur. “Sometimes as moms we feel as though we are limited in what we can accomplish or that we have to put our dreams on hold in order to achieve success, says founder Elizabeth Munro. In other cases, we may be faced with adversity and feel unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that’s what our Mompreneur profiles are all about.” We want moms to relate and say “Hey, that could be me!” “Or wow, if she can do it, I can do it too!”
Fellow founder, Barbara Ryan is quick to add: “Our Mompreneur profiles are the ideal vehicle through which to accomplish this. It’s about real moms talking to real moms and demonstrating that nothing is impossible”.
The month of June will feature Lisa Druxman, founder of Stroller Strides; the mom & baby fitness craze that is sweeping the nation.
While the month of July focuses on the incredible story of Rachel Coleman, founder of Signing Times: Rachel has taken sign language mainstream, providing both kids and pre-verbal infants a whole new outlet of expression.
