December 06, 2008 - Los Angeles, CA — MLC PR officially announced today that reality TV show contestant Maura ‘Mo’ Lewit has signed with the firm for publicity services. As a contestant of Lifetime’s new reality competition series, "Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist," hosted by Vanessa Marcil, Mo is one of many from around the country that competed for a contract as a professional artist with Max Factor, a cash prize of $100,000, and the opportunity to be the makeup artist for an upcoming In Style photo shoot.
“MLC PR is excited to have signed Mo and we are looking forward to all the doors that will open for her through PR,” says Howie Simon, publicist with MLC PR. “The show is definitely one to watch!”
Over her career span, Mo has worked with Cirque Du Soleil, the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, Rachel McAdams (“The Notebook”) and Omorosa Manigault-Stallworth (Donald Trump's NBC show "The Apprentice”) and Norma Strait for the Country Music Awards. Her regular clientele include actress Jennifer Tilly and author Lucie Venture. She is currently the head makeup artist for the Las Vegas-based cable television show “In My Corner” starring Rasheeda Ali.
