May 06, 2009 - LOS ANGELES, CA — MLC PR announced today that actor Paulo Costanzo has signed on to promote his starring role as “Evan Lawson” in the highly anticipated, USA original scripted series “Royal Pains.” Set in the exclusive beach community of The Hamptons, the series centers on a young blacklisted doctor whose career is revived when he becomes the doctor for hire to the rich, famous and underserved in The Hamptons. “Royal Pains” is set to premiere Thursday, June 4th at 10/9c.
Of signing Costanzo, president of MLC PR Mona Loring shares, “We are so glad to be a part of Paulo’s team.. He is an exceptional actor that has shown a wide range of talent in numerous genres, and we all feel that his new show ‘Royal Pains’ is going to be a big success.”
Costanzo is best known for his roles as “Rubin Carver” in the DreamWorks hit college comedy, “Road Trip,” and his supporting role in Miramax Films’ “40 Days and 40 Nights,” where he starred as “Ryan” alongside Josh Hartnett. Since then, Costanzo has gone on to work in such films as “Josie and the Pussycats,” “A Problem with Fear,” “Scorched” opposite Woody Harrelson and Alicia Silverstone, “Everything’s Gone Green,” and the critically acclaimed independent horror film “Splinter.” In addition to a successful film career, Paulo is also known for his role as “Michael” on NBC’s “Joey.”
