Mayra Cintrón Shahid was today nominated by 107.9 FM "The Link" as their "Link Leading Lady"
Mayra has founded one of the most exceptional childcare centers in the state of North Carolina, the Shining Stars Academy (www.ShiningStarsAcademy.com). Mayra, coming from a minority worked with the SBA, bankers, architects and builders to finance, design, and construct the center! And Mayra just celebrated the center’s first anniversary!
The Shining Stars Academy has programs from infants to children 10 years old. They encourage children to learn through play and hands-on activities, experimentation and exploration to enhance their cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.
